The Space Technology Institute (STI) of ASTU held a seminar with experts from South Korea to discuss drone projects. Dr. Silewendim Eshetu, Director of ASTU STI, discussed current practices of ASTU's drone development and challenges. Similarly, Dr. Shimelis Lemma, Dean of ASTU's College of Mechanical, Chemical, and Materials Engineering, talked about the activities of his college and possible areas of collaboration.

On the other hand, Professor Kang Beom Soo from Pusan National University explained how drones can help manage marine, forests, rivers, and cities. Dr. Abera Shiferaw from Chosun University shared insights on their drone. Both sides expressed interest in collaborating to benefit their countries and boost national pride.
